The natural track of St. Moritz, Switzerland, presented beautiful meteorological conditions today, that allowed the track record to be broken several times, at the Bobsleigh 2-Man World Cup in.
Francesco Fredrich (DEU) and Alexander Schueller (DEU) were the last to keep the track record (1:05.65), as well as the start record (5.02).
In second place was another German team: Johannes Lochner and Florian Bauer, who finished .45 seconds from their teammates.
Canada (Justin Kripps and Cam Stones) -who returned to the World Cup last week- was third, .92 seconds adrift.
Tomorrow the 4-man competition will take place and Friedrich – the winningest Bobsledder in World Cups-, is the clear favorite for gold.
