Zinedine Zidane managed Real Madrid from 2016 to 2018 and then again from 2019 to 2021. In his second period he won the 2019-2020 La Liga and finished second place in the 2020-21 season but left the team citing the above reason.
Spanish media have reported that Real Madrid also asks Zidane for self-criticism, such as in terms of the management of some players.
