The Glory Welterweight Championship (Kickboxing) is already unified thanks to the Regular Champion, Cédric Doumbé (FRA) unifying with the Interim Champion, Murthel Groenhart (NED), in Glory 77.
They both had good moments in the first round, which was very competitive.
In the second Doumbé threw Groenhart and then hit a few shots but the Dutchman responded. There was a dramatic moment when Groenhart tried a kick that the Frenchman avoided, and as a consequence he went against the ropes and somersaulted, falling almost entirely out of the ring.
They gave him time to recover from the blow to the back and kidneys but he would not last long in the fight because in the same second round Doumbé landed a right hand that knocked out the interim Champion. He unbelievably got up but fight was stopped by the referee.
