Inter Milan defeated Juventus 2-0 in a Serie A game and sent them to fifth place in the general table.
At minute 11 ‘Cristiano Ronaldo’s almost scored the historic goal to become the player with the highest number of goals at an official level. He put it in after a pass from Chiesa (ITA), but the Italian was offside and therefore the goal was not valid.

The Nerazzurri continued to control the ball in the second half and there was no clear sight of Juventus scoring a goal, although in the final minutes they did shoot on goal.
With this result, Inter is in second place in Serie A, with 40 points. They are behind AC Milan on a goal difference that could increase tomorrow if Atlético manage to defeat Cagliari.
