Yet again Napoli won in the last minute. On Wednesday they beat Spezia 1-2 and today Udinese, with the same score.
Mexican player, Hirving Lozano, kept very active throughout the game. He is still probably the best player for Napoli.
Actually the first goal that his team scored was at 14′ when a penalty was marked for a foul against him when he was entering the box. Lorenzo Insigne (ITA) took the shot for the lead.
Then, Lozano tried to dive in to score like a “dove” with a header but Juan Musso (ARG), goalkeeper, kept the net clean this time.
Udinese’s goal was scored by Kevin Lasagna (ITA), who beat keeper Alex Meret (ITA) in the tête-à-tête.
Udinese made it to the box more times during the second half but they were just not precise. Napoli looked handcuffed by their defense and it looked as if the match would end in a draw.
However the compensation time would also await the winning goal. Midfielder Tiémoué Bakayoko (FRA) elevated in a corner kick to head it in for the winner.
With this result, Napoli is still fifth in Serie A and Udinese thirteenth. Leader is AC Milan -who defeated Torino 2-1 yesterday- with 40 points for 37 by Inter Milan, that tied 2-2 with Roma today. Roma is third with 34.
The other team in Champions League position is Atalanta, with 31 puntos, just as Napoli.
