Ryan Blaney (USA) and Joey Logano (USA) took the first two stages of the race. Then Brad Keselowski (USA) took the lead after the penultimate restart of the race but Truex also took the lead with another restart, the last of the race.
Logano, Hamlin (USA), Keseolwski and Elliott (USA) completed the top five places.
