The Belenenses and Porto tied in a match that was marked by a head clash where Nanu (GNB) came out on a stretcher.
Porto player Nanu took a terrible head blow against Stanislav Kritsyuk (RUS), Belenenses goalkeeper.
After the blow he fell motionless to the ground and the players of both teams were desperate for medical attention.
The ambulance arrived and Nanu was treated on the spot. He was carefully withdrawn and taken to the hospital. It was not perceived that he was being given oxygen but the situation looks serious.
Pepe (BRA), a Porto player, mentioned in an interview after the match that Nanu regained consciousness.
Jesús Corona (MEX) came in relief in the second half and was the one who gave the pass that Nanu sought when he had his accident.
